Our worship gatherings, small group bible studies and service opportunities center around four areas of formation: Love God. Love Family. Love People. Love Life. We believe that God wants to make us complete Christians and that regular teaching and training in these four areas will allow us to have a well rounded faith that is applicable to every season in life and situation we may face. Below is an overview of each of the four areas.

Love God

New Life Christian Community shares a commitment to LOVE GOD. We believe God to be good, the creator of all things and that people exist to glorify Him above all. (Gen 1:1; Deut 6:4; Matt 22:37-38) We believe in Jesus Christ as the one whom God sent and through his life, death and resurrection he has made salvation and abundant life available to all men who would believe in Him and repent of their sins. (John 1:1-4, 14, 6:29; Matt 1:21; Rom 6:23, 10:9) Because of this we commit to gather for the purpose of worshipping God and to apprentice ourselves to Jesus Christ. (Ex 20:3, Deut 6:13; John 14:15; Matt 28:19-20) By doing so, we will receive the power of the Holy Spirit and the blessings of eternal life. (Acts 1:8, John 3:16)

Love Family

New Life Christian Community shares a commitment to LOVE FAMILY. We believe the family to be God’s first created, earthly institution and is our main source of influence and instruction. Although each household may be comprised differently, we believe that our faith should be lived first and foremost within the household in which we live. (Gen 1:27-28, 2:21-25; Ex. 20:12) Because of this we commit to household health and unity, to become one with our spouse and to raise our children in the instruction of the Lord. (Deut 6:7; Josh 24:15; Eph 5:22-6:4) We commit to the adoption and nurturing of anyone who is without family in order to make them a part of a family of faith. (Psalm 68:6, James 1:27) By doing so, we hope to leave behind a legacy of multi-generational faithfulness. (Ex 20:12)

Love People

New Life Christian Community shares a commitment to LOVE PEOPLE. We believe the people of God are to live in loving community with one another and the world. We believe that loving service to all people is the best way to display the love of God. (Matt 22:39; Matt 5:16; Eph 2:10) Because of this we commit to uphold covenant relationships with the partners of New Life Christian Community, to continually love one another and to maintain corporate unity. (John 13:34-35; Rom 13:8) We commit to join God in his work of seeking justice for the oppressed, help for the poor and comfort for the hurting. (Matt 25:40; Psalm 9:9, 10:18; Luke 4:18) By doing so we are helping to bring forth God’s Kingdom on Earth and we store up for ourselves treasures in Heaven. (Matt 4:18, 6:9-10, 6:20)

Love Life

New Life Christian Community shares a commitment to LOVE LIFE. We believe that life is a gift from God and that every aspect of life should be lived unto Him. (Gen 1:27, 2:7; Rom 12:1) Because of this we commit to live as citizens in the Kingdom of Heaven by living lives characterized by hope, faith and love. (John 18:36; 1 Thes. 1:3, 5:8) We commit to the celebration of God’s blessing and the enjoyment of his creation as a natural course of living within the Sabbath rest of God. (Gen 2:3, Ex 20:8; Lev 23; Heb 3-4) By doing so, we embrace life as God intended it to be lived. (Gen 1-2; Rev 21-22)
